INSPECTION | WORKS CONFIRMATION
Rugs, runners and tapestries are handled and assessed for works, with the utmost care at our Rug Care Workshop Studios.
Yarn type, size, stains, old repairs, wear, or colour-run are checked and noted and yarn dye-stability undertaken. After inspection, we reconfirm initial quote, or if any change in details we update it, for works go-ahead.
DRY DE-DUSTING | DEBRIS REMOVAL
An effective, pre-wash process specifically designed for rugs that gently loosens dust particles and safely eliminates harmful, ingrained debris and embedded build-ups in delicate woven fibres.
Protects and prevents any undue fibre abrasion during the cleaning process, and encourages renewed rug suppleness.
STAINS | SPILLS | ODOUR TREATMENTS
Pre-cleaning treatments that are eco-safe for children and pets. Hand-applied skills to disinfect, alleviate and vastly improve deeply absorbed and saturated, stubborn stains and odours – made ready for the hand cleaning processes.

RUG AND TAPESTRY HAND CLEANING WITH FREE MOTH TREATMENT
We apply traditional deep-wash, hand cleaning methods combined with organic soap solutions – safe for children and pets. Our cleaning care processes gently penetrate and deep cleanse each piece, giving a better, more reconditioned clean, with colours and textures revived, yarn fibres refreshed, allergens removed, and yarn lustre restored.
Cleaning also includes a conditioning treatment for fringes and a FREE moth treatment that eliminates infestations, eggs and larvae, to protect and prolong the lifespan of your rug.
Pieces are then thoroughly aired and dried in temperature-controlled aerating rooms, then brushed to lay the nap, with pile fibres buffed and then ‘polished’. Cleaned pieces are carefully rolled and securely encased in protective waterproof sleeves.

When your piece is ready, we will contact you to arrange FREE Return Delivery at a time that suits you, with evening/weekend slots and a rug-refitting service available.
We also offer a FREE storage service – up to 45 days in our secure holding bay. This is a complimentary, optional service for any pre-paid cleaned, repaired or altered pieces, so you can enjoy peace of mind while away, with your weavings secure until return delivery.
